Owner and Operator, Harley Westerfield, discovered a passion for operating heavy equipment at a young age. He began his career as an operating engineer in the union before branching out in 2017 to start Westerfield Excavating. Harley takes pride in running a business that provides efficient, high-quality, and affordable work to customers. He enjoys bringing customer visions to life and is committed to establishing working relationships that will last a lifetime. 

He is also a true outdoorsman. When not working, he can be found boating, hunting, or fishing. He is an avid duck hunter and is passionate about developing and preserving wetlands for duck habitats. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his dogs and his wife, Maggie. 

Harley has spent many years observing mentors in the field, which has provided him with extensive knowledge and unique experiences in excavation. These experiences have created a vast skillset, allowing him to meet his goals and complete projects efficiently and effectively.
